The internet grows exponentially with every passing minute. Many businesses engaged in the advertising wars played out online are trying desparately to win over a large portion of their target market. If you want to participate in this high-stakes battle process, it must be your goal to work out the level of intensity your competition is packing to zero-in on the most effective linking strategy you should use for your business.

Some businesses employ paid advertising on major commercial portals in the Internet, in hopes that the traffic generated by these pages will eventually flow into their own company website. Others make use of the ingenious pay-per-click (PPC) system, which virtually requires no start-up cost on the part of the advertiser. He or she only pays for the amount of traffic that he or she generates through the public’s accessing his or her website through that particular link; no payment is made at the initial ad placement in various media.

Pros and Cons of Link Exchanges

by Shep Samson

Link exchanges are different from other ways of promoting your website that you may have already tried. Whether you’re a beginner with your first online business, or an experienced marketer, if you haven’t tried link exchanges, you might be missing out on something. These exchanges are a blend between traffic exchanges and affiliate marketing programs. The methods to use them and how they work are a bit different.

A link exchange offers you the chance to share your links with other sites, and in return they get to place their links on your site creating a mutual exchange. Some new opportunities exist that allow you to do this through an exchange site, but most of the time you will have to contact target sites directly and ask the site’s webmaster for an exchange of links to be done. There are advantages and disadvantages to both methods. Try both and see which best fits your needs.

Linking is King; Do it Wisely.

by Steve Prylon

Apparently it is here to stay: the power of the inbound link. Google values the inbound link in a powerful way. It’s a vote for your site, and without the votes, you don’t get that Googletrust and you don’t get that ranking. Getting the right mix of links is crucial, and how to even get these links is a mystery to most, and a pain in the rear to the rest of us. But with the right effort and knowledge, you can create a logical mix of inbound links that will indicate to search engines that your site is valuable.

Now in the long term, your focus on having a visitor friendly site, with material that a visitor wants to see, will be rewarded by the search engines. And of course increase conversions and loyalty. So be careful not to lose the perspective of your customer, your visitor, and make your site what the public wants.

Guaranteed Links Give You The Exposure You Need

by Bryan Hollis

Guaranteed links are a good way to get relevant back links to your website. Outsourcing this tedious task into the hands of those that can make your business a success is an affordable option for many. There are several reasons that you need a one way link service that is permanent, and guaranteed links can give you this. It is a great way to build traffic and build it fast. Check out some of the great options you can get with guaranteed links.

Many of the major search engines such as Yahoo and Google are picky when it comes to presented backlinks that are on a website. The search engines will only show the ones that they think are relevant, and not the ones that you want them to show. A way to combat this is to use guaranteed links. If you use guaranteed links from a service, you will be able to get your permanent links shown on search engines all the time. The guaranteed links all come from directories, so this is the only way to get your links recognized every single time.

by James Comer

Flixya 2.0 is a popular social networking, online video sharing community which just re-launched. Version 2.0 is bigger and better. Their motto is simply “Share Everything”. They certainly live up to that as the latest version not only includes video sharing, but also incorporates blogs, and photo sharing into the model. Instead of the previous 50% revenue sharing, Flixya now gives 100% of the ad revenue generated to its users. (Note: You do need to sign up for your own adsense account for the revenue sharing).

Flixya billing itself as the only social-networking website that pays you back 100% of the advertising revenue generated on their site from the ads placed around the content that you add. You can creat your own blogs, upload your photos, and create blogs about your life.
